While visiting the beautiful Great Lakes State of Michigan we were lucky enough to be able to attend a Sugar Skull Workshop hosted by the DIA (Detroit Institute of Arts). There is nothing better than being around friends and family during the holidays! This was the perfect opportunity for the kids to hang with their Papa and talk about our relatives that have passed while decorating beautiful sugar skulls to honor their memory.
